It's sometimes OK to be selfish.

So I was having a conversation with someone (this someone's name will be left unknown for his/her protection) about how this person doesn't like being mean to people because they don't like to hurt people's feelings. This made me analyze other particular cases where I've heard the same thing.
However, this made me realize that in the end, you haven't really not hurt someone. You've in fact just prolonged the pain that might be caused to another person and you might have hurt yourself. Basically if your always doing things for other people you are never really helping yourself, and if your doing something for someone else in order not to hurt them, you still are but your also hurting yourself.
That's why I think it's okay to be selfish sometimes. It might sound cruel or mean or whatever but its true. If your selfish or honest to yourself and another person, you might still end up hurting them but your saving yourself a lot of trouble and hurt and you would have just hurt the other person anyways by lying to them.

So everyone needs to learn to be a little mean and a little selfish! Hope this blog made sense hahaha!

End of the World

Ok, so I got this idea from Sam discussing 2012 and the reference to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in the horrible novel Beloved. It led me to think about how will the world end?!

So basically there are many theories as to how the Earth (possibly the Milky Way Galaxy as well) will end. Repeat of the dinosaurs with meteors, the sun imploding or exploding resulting in a freezing or total burning of Earth, 2012, a black hole at the center of the universe and the coolest one, the coming of the Four Horsemen. Now the scientific side of me would say that its going to do with the sun or the black hole but the concept of Four Horsemen seems very cool to me.

So ya, didn't really know where I was going with this, just wanted to make you all aware that someday the world is going to end (mind you, not anytime soon). :)
