Ladies and gentlemen (Michael)

For the past little while, we have been discussing the importance of language, a topic I feel is extremely important. One of the key points that we brought up is what establishes a language. We all had different opinions and mine is that a language is anything that can be used to communicate between two or more people. This can be in any form, whether orally, hand motion, actions or anything really that can be used to communicate. A good example (well not really, but very cool) is this link on YouTube. It's really cheesy and probably doesn't apply to this class very much. But in a sense it can be seen as a language as the dancing can communicate the fact that the people are very happy and the music portrays the feelings in this video as well. Therefore, language can been used in many different ways in methods of communication.
